Lest auf dem Schreibtisch den Flyer , Artefakt 1 / 10 "Kommt zur WLF" Notiz, dann öffnet die Tür in die Wäscherei, wo ihr auch ein paar Sachen - auch im Automaten, den ihr einschlagen könnt - findet. Dann geht raus auf die Straße. Gegenüber hinter dem Van habt ihr das nächste Geschäft, einen Bekleidungsladen mit Schaufensterpuppen. Durchsucht die Schubladen, dann geht hinter den Tresen und schaut an die Seite zur Wand, wo ihr ein Loch findet. Kriecht rein und ihr könnt erst mal die Tür nach oben öffnen, dann geht in den Keller, wo ihr Massen an Zeugs findet und vor allem auch eine Werkbank 1 / 2. Schaut euch die goldenen Bogenschützenstatue in der Ecke links an, dann schaut euch die Artefakt 2 Zeichnung von Boris Tochter auf dem Tisch an. Habt ihr alles, geht es raus und ihr könnt euch das vierte Haus angucken, "Madrona Baker". Hier gibt es ein zwei Sachen im Hinterzimmer, aber nichts Spannendes. Geht zum Ende der Straße und klettert auf den Van, um in den nächsten Bereich zu kommen. Lasst euch fallen und lauft nach links in die Büsche, den Abhang runter und klettert dann rechts die Klippe hoch. Zerstört die Scheibe von "Caroline Paper" und steigt ein. Ihr findet ein paar Ressourcen und Munition, in der Mitte liegt auf dem Tisch die Artefakt 3/ 10 "Wir brauchen einen Plan" Notiz. Dann findet ihr hinter dem Tresen in einer Box an der Wand auch Sammelkarte 2 / 5 Superheldenkarte Sahir The Sorcerer. Geht zurück wie ihr kamt, dann haltet euch links, wo ihr einen Buchladen - "Used and Rare Books" als erstes findet. Auf dem Tresen liegt Artefakt 4 / 10 Yolandas Brief. Geht ein Haus weiter, schaut euch das verunstaltete WLF-Banner an, um einen Tagebucheintrag 1 / 1 zu bekommen, dann geht in den Coffeeshop. Die guten Sachen liegen in der Küche, aber die ist verschlossen. Geht stattdessen nach hinten links in Bad und klettert durch den Lüftungsschacht in die Küche. Hier findet ihr nützliche Dinge. Verlasst die Küche und dann den Shop durch die Hintertür. Springt über den Zaun und klettert die Leiter hoch. Über das mit Stacheldraht gesicherte Dach geht es nach links und dann springt über die Metallträger nach unten. Ihr stoßt auf eine WLF-Patrouille und lernt die Hunde kennen. Hunde lassen sich nicht so leicht austricksen und es geht vor allem darum die Fährte lange genug zu unterbrechen, dass der Hund euch verliert. Auch wenn es nicht viel Sinn macht, Ihr seht die Fährte in der "Lausch"-Sicht, wenn ihr R1 haltet. Schleicht euch rechts durch die Küche nach draußen und hinter das Auto rechts. Ihr solltet jetzt weit genug sein, dass der Hund die Fährte verloren hat. Klettert durch die Wand dahinter, dann schleicht durch den Shop und durch die Seite geht es durch den Spalt in der Wand in den nächsten Laden. Duckt euch hinter dem Tisch gleich links und wartet auf die WLF-Soldatin, die hier hereinkommt. Zieht sie hinter den Tisch, damit sie nicht von der Straße zu sehen ist. Wenn euch das gelingt habt ihr jetzt Ruhe und könnt euch, wenn ihr es richtig timed, weiterschleichen, die Straße runter. Ihr müsst dafür nicht mal die Frau umbringen. Das wäre sogar der richtige Weg, bei dem ihr euch weiter auf dieser Seite nach hinten zu der roten Doppeltür schleicht. Benutzt die Ziegelsteine, wenn ihr euch nähert, um die Gegner dort in eine andere Richtung zu schicken, während ihr durchschlüpft. Aber wenn ihr alles in der Gegend looten wollt - viel gibt es nicht und nichts Wichtiges -, dann kommt ihr um einen Kampf nicht herum und jeder Gegner weniger zählt, schließlich könnt ihr Hunde nicht überraschen. Was ihr bei Hunden aber tun könnt ist ihren Halter mit einer Schalldämpfer-Pistole erledigen. Die Hunde stehen danach etwas perplex herum, würden euch aber immer noch angreifen. Schiebt diesen an die Wand neben dem Gebäude mit dem großen Loch in der Wand. Beeilt euch, klettert hinauf und über die Wand, da sich der Container wegen der Schräge im Boden dem Haus, ein Fahrradladen, findet ihr eine Werkbank, um eure Waffen zu verbessern. Geht nun hinaus und springt links über den Zaun. Vor einer Garage steht ein grüner Müllcontainer, den ihr beiseite schieben könnt, um die Tür zu öffnen. Im Inneren befinden sich allerdings fünf Runner. Öffnet ihr also die Tür, dann klettert sofort auf den Container, damit die Infizierten euch nicht so einfach erreichen und schießt ihnen nacheinander in den Kopf. In der Werkstatt selbst findet ihr einen Safe, in dessen Inneren ihr unter anderem neben etwas Munition noch ein Kurzwaffenholster für Joels Pistole finden könnt, damit ihr dieses schneller ziehen könnt. Öffnet die Tür, klettert auf den Container und schießt herunter. Geht nun rechts durch den Friseur-Salon und betretet auf der anderen Straßenseite den Laden für Haustierfutter. Links hinter der kaputten Wand in der Bar wandeln ein Shambler und ein Runner. Schaltet den Runner lautlos aus und schleicht am Tresen entlang am Shambler vorbei, um rechts zur Küche zu gelangen. Geht ihr nun hinaus, seid ihr bei der Treppe, die ihr hochlaufen müsst. Im Innerern einer längst verwesten Leiche daneben stecken zwei Pfeile, die ihr einstecken oberen Ende hört ihr eine Explosion und seht Rauch aufsteigen. Vor euch laufen zudem drei Infizierte herum. Nutzt das hohe Gras, um euch kriechend an diese anzuschleichen und schaltet sie nacheinander lautlos aus. Klettert anschließend über den Bretterzaun hinter ihnen und betretet das Haus. Zwängt ihr euch durch die kaputte weiße Tür in der Küche zur Garage, werdet ihr von einem Infizierten angegriffen. Schüttelt ihn ab und tötet ihn. Dieser hat einen Bogen und zwei weitere Pfeile ihr die Garage, könnt ihr im Hinterhof an den Schaufensterpuppen hier den Umgang mit Pfeil und Bogen üben und noch einige Pfeile einsammeln. Klettert anschließend über den Zaun. Hier wimmelt es von WLFs, sowohl auf der Straße, als auch in den Häusern. Nutzt euren Bogen und eure Nahkampfwaffen, um die WLFs und deren Hunde auszuschalten. Die Hunde sind wegen der Fähigkeit euch aufspüren zu können sehr gefährlich. Hinter dem letzten Haus auf der rechten Seite msst ihr neben der Laube durch das Garagengebäude und hier hinter der zerstörten Rückwand den Abhabg hinab rutschen, um euch dem Rauch zu nähern. Schaltet alle WLFs auf dem Weg dorthin aus und passt auf deren Spürhunde auf. Mit dem Pfeil und Bogen könnt ihr auch aus der Distanz lautlos eure Gegner ausschalten, was in diesem Abschnitt zwingend notwendig ist. Kommt dann auf der rechten Seite ein Hund gegen einen Zaun gesprungen, kann euch aber nicht angreifen, dann erschießt seinen Halter neben ihn und klettert links in das Haus, wo drei WLFs euch mit Rauchgranaten verwirren wollen. Einer greift euch von rechts mit einem Baseballschäger an. Einer bleibt zurück und verschanzt sich. Lauscht, um festzustellen, wo der dritte sich versteckt. Die Treppe hoch werdet ihr von einer Frau mit einer Machete ihr dann aus dem Fenster und springt weiter vorne nach unten auf die Straße gegenüber dem brennenden Wagen, wird Ellie von einem Mann überrascht. Helft Jesse nun die WLFs zu töten und erledigt den rechten der beiden WLFs, die sich euch nähern, während Jesse den linken nimmt. Tötet nun noch die hinteren beiden und steigt dann in den Wagen braucht etwas um in die Gänge zu kommen, weshalb ihr die WLFs hinter euch mit eurer Pistole auf Abstand halten müsst. Geht die Fahrt dann los, werdet ihr von einem weiteren Truck verfolgt und müsst dessen Fahrer erschießen. Später kommen noch infizierte hinzu und ihr müsst den, der euch packt wegdrücken und den Clicker auf der Motorhaube erschießen. Kracht ihr dann mit dem Wagen in den Fluss, müsst ihr euch daraus befreien. Ellie und Jesse gehen dann zu Fuß zurück zum Theater und treffen dort die überraschte die Komplettlösung hilfreich? It was one of Seattle's suburbs, prior to the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak.[2] History Rule under FEDRA Hillcrest was a typical suburb within Seattle prior to the CBI outbreak. Several individuals lived here, including the Brandmans, Dale, Boris, his daughter Sofia Legasov, and his friend Uli. When the pandemic struck Seattle, Boris defended the residents from the growing hordes of infected, killing several clickers,[3] leading to the community making him their leader in the absence of government presence.[4] Soon after, the United States military and FEDRA took control of the city and locked it and its suburbs down into quarantine zones. FEDRA officer Yolanda was stationed within Hillcrest and worked with Boris to ensure the community worked with FEDRA. The pair got along well, with Yolanda even moving her dog Alfie into the area for Boris to care for.[5] Take over by the WLF However, the military began to face the threat of a militia group known as the Washington Liberation Front WLF. The war between the two escalated and spilled out into Hillcrest. Eventually, FEDRA was defeated and the WLF took control of Hillcrest.[6] The WLF subsequently placed a curfew on the area and placed propaganda banners around the suburb to officially mark it as part of their territory.[4] They also forced the residents to follow a strict set of rules, with punishments following if the residents did not comply, including losing food rations.[2] Fearing she would be executed for her association with FEDRA, Yolanda left Hillcrest.[5] Eventually, the WLF ordered the residents in Hillcrest to leave the suburb and move to SoundView Stadium. However, Boris and Uli refused to leave, devising a plan to convince everyone within Hillcrest to resist the move and fight against the WLF.[6] However, the WLF did not take lightly to the community's resistance. As such, infected hordes, primarily consisting of runners and clickers, flooded into the area. Without any human presence, the environment began to overtake the area, eventually covering the numerous houses and stores within the city with grass, plants and even flooded water. Roads were also left to decay, leading some to collapse. The houses also decayed, with some roofs collapsing and the wood within rotting. However, the WLF did continue to patrol the area, mainly to ensure trespassers were not sneaking into the city through the suburb. The WLF referred to the suburb as "area fourteen" when discussing it via radio.[2] Events of The Last of Us Part II In April, 2038, Jesse was passing through the area, attempting to reach Ellie and Dina who were deeper in the city. She traversed through the area, fighting through infected, including the Hillcrest runners imprisoned within the garage and Boris in his stalker form. Together, the pair stole one of the WLF's trucks and used it to escape them, though they accidentally drove into an infected horde. Cut through the coffee shop, go through the back door, hop the fence, climb the ladder on the right to get to the roof, and drop down into the area below. WLF Soldiers and Their DogsGet ready to take on WLF soldiers and their dogs. Tips Toss a brick or bottle to distract the dog and throw them off from your scent. Kill the owner then isolate the dog. Get a headshot while having a silencer on your gun if you’ve unlocked the ability to craft that item. Set up traps using Trap Mines. Loot the area as you go and do another sweep once everyone is dead When you’re ready to continue, head for the red exit doors. Continue forward and open the gate to get the dumpster out. Move the dumpster to the side of the garage and climb it to get to the roof. You’ll need to do it quickly because it rolls down. Drop down and head into the building ahead, through the hole in the brick wall. Workbench Location - Bicycle ShopadvertisementThis workshop has a workbench in it. Be sure to loot this room as well. Trading Card - Naledi the YouthfulInside the bicycle shop’s workshop, look around to the back of the room with a door leading to an office, and a cork board. Safe - Auto Repair ShopadvertisementJump over the fences or walls in between businesses you can also cut through the back of Shear Lux and move the dumpster to access the door to the Auto Repair Shop. Behind it is a bunch of runners so have a molotov cocktail ready, then get some distance and shoot. Another option is to line that area with some trap mines. Open the safe with the code 30-82-65. Check the back room for more supplements and other loot. Note Inside this safe is a Gun Holster if you didn’t find both in Downtown Seattle. Go back to the dog grooming area and cut through the washing station to reach the staircase. Go up the stairs. Several infected will be there. Take them out. If you end up in a bind consider running back down the stairs and luring them into trap mines or simply shooting them from a distance. Jump over the wooden fence once they’ve been dealt with. Grab a collectible inside one of the houses details Card - ReverbAt the battle of Hillcrest where you must take on several WLF Soldiers and attack dogs, you can find a trading card hidden in one of the many houses on the block. After the enemies are dealt with, run up the first street to the very end of the block to a house on the right with an adjoining garage look for the house number 1214 above the front door. Go through the front door, up the stairs, and turn around and go up the hall to a bedroom with a window overlooking the front yard. Go prone and wiggle under the bed to find a trading card tucked away here. Eventually, you’ll reach a gazebo and can exit through the garage, sliding down the dirty slope. From here, run to the garage and then sprint for the exits. To keep yourself supplied and your ammo belt stocked, you'll want to track down every secure location and crack all of the safes in The Last of Us 2. If only it was as simple as just picking what you wanted. In this guide, we’ll not only talk you through how to get all the safe codes by searching the environment, but also highlight the safe combinations themselves if you just want to skip the legwork. The Last of Us 2 safe codes and combinations Skip to Jackson safe combinations Skip to Day 1 safe combinations Skip to Day 2 safe combinations Skip to Day 3 safe combinations Skip to Safe combinations after the spoiler break Jackson safe combinations Patrol safe 1 combination - This safe can be found when you’re clearing out the first load of infected with Dina around the top floor of the supermarket. You will find a note that says, "Combo is the date my good boy got Employee of the Month." Nearby, there's a picture of a sweet dog on the desk. Now go back outside the room and into the corridor. Here you’ll find an Employee of the Month chart. Look for the dog and you’ll see he got the award in July 2013. That means the safe code is 07-20-13. You’ll find some gun parts and supplements inside. Day 1 safe combinations Bank vault combination - In the south of the Seattle Downtown hub area - which we have a full page on here - you can find the combination for the vault in the bank on a note called Bank Heist Plans. Now head over to the Safety Deposit Room. The vault code is 60-23-06. Inside you will find the Pump Shotgun and Nathan Drake’s ring. Gate West 2 safe combination - You can find this on Madison Street near the top left of the map. You have to squeeze through a small gap. The code is 04-51, which is the old code for Gate West 2 on your gate codes journal page. Courthouse safe combination - Inside the courthouse, once you’ve passed the first load of infected, you’ll come downstairs to a dark corridor with metal detectors, and on your left, there’s an office. Smash the window and climb into the office to find the safe underneath. You can see the combination for the safe - 86-07-22 - on a whiteboard nearby. You’ll find supplements and gun parts inside. "Staci good time" Thrift store safe combination - In the tripwire area with Dina, as you advance you’ll eventually see Wellwishes thrift store on your left. Tiptoe around the outside of the tree next to the front door to avoid the booby-trap, then grab the Bizzarebra Superhero card from the children’s bookshelf on the left-hand side of the room. In this area, open the door at the back of the room and pick up the note from the corkboard on your right. The note gives you the hint that the combination to a nearby safe is the last six digits of Staci’s phone number, but the bottom is ripped. You’ll find the safe in another side room through the left-hand door. Scaredy-cats prepare yourself before you enter. The safe combo is 55-01-33, which you find graffitied on the wall of a nearby bathroom - “call Staci for a good time - 206 555-0133. Underground door combination - Near where you found the Dr. Daniela Star trading card, there’s a locked door that requires a combination to enter. Around the corner from the door you will find a note that says, “Hey Dewey - Forget the code again? Get me a soda and the code is yours! - V.” Nearby there’s a vending machine with a soda can inside - smash the glass to pull it out and examine it. A note attached to the can reads, “The code is 1-5-2-?-? - Okay, enough hints. If you can’t figure the rest out, I’m with the wrong man. Enjoy!” By process of elimination, you can figure out the door code is 15243. You’ll find ammo, supplements, and other supplies inside. Day 2 safe combinations Auto repair garage Hillcrest safe combination - In the area after the first encounter with the WLF and their dogs, you will be in another street that’s taken over by infected. There’s a bunch of shops, including a tattoo parlour. Outside the back of the tattoo parlour, there’s an Auto Repair shop with a door blocked by a dumpster. Move the dumpster away from the door, place a mine and open the door before legging it away. The mine will take care of some of the runners inside and you can use the shotgun to pick the rest off. Inside you will find a safe. To find the combination, head into the shop opposite the front door of the tattoo parlour. From there enter the bar and kill the shambler and infected inside, then go into the kitchen there and grab a note from the whiteboard. The auto repair safe code is 30-82-65. Inside the safe you’ll find a Short Gun Holster, as well as some ammo and gun parts. Wedding date safe combination - After Ellie sets off on her mission to the hospital, she cuts through a supermarket and passes a bar, Kingsgate Brewing, on the left, and an office building with the rope swing puzzle to get past a locked door on the right. Further up the road there’s an optional apartment building on your left. Walk up to door, then look down the stairs to your right to see the crawl space entry. Make your way up to the second floor and there’s a workbench on the right-hand side of the building. To the left is a locked door. To get past it, smash the window in front of you on the balcony, climb out, then jump across to the left and smash another window to get back in again. Inside, there’s a safe in the bedroom. The combination is the wedding date mentioned in the note in the room you broke into. Look for a calendar on the wall. The wedding anniversary is circled, giving you the safe combination 10-08-83. Grab the superhero card from the bedside table in the same bedroom, and help yourself to the 24 supplements waiting for you in the safe. Weston’s Pharmacy safe combination - Further on the way to the hospital, Ellie reaches a flooded street where you're prompted to press L3 to look at your objective. Instead of continuing straight forward, break off to the left to find Weston's Pharmacy. You can find another safe inside Weston’s Pharmacy through a crack in the wall, between two shelves. Inside you’ll find a medkit, explosive arrows, and some supplements. You can find the combination on a note under cash register counter at Weston’s Pharmacy. The note says, “Tom - I keep hearing gunfire at odd hours. We have no one to protect us from this crazy cult. We can’t wait for the WLF to find us… we have to trek to their base and join them. I’ve started stashing supplies in the safe. Heading out to scout the best route, will be back with a plan ASAP. Be careful, MK. - Almost forgot, the code is 38-55-23.” Day 3 safe combinations Boat stash safe combination - You’ll find this safe when you’re exploring in the boat as Ellie, where you'll see a safe behind a wire fence in a garage. Eventually you’ll come to a shutter and have to depart the boat. Head up the stairs here and you’ll pass by a window where you’re prompted to take a note of the ferris wheel in the distance. There’s a body in the corner of this corridor with a note that says, “Bigger hope is you remember where we hid the stash? Code is 70-12-64. It’s not much, but it’s all I have. I want you to take it. Be well. - Randall.” Opposite Randall there’s a movable trolley - pull it to reveal a crawlspace. Crawl through, then hop down into the fenced-in area below to find the safe for some ammo, supplements, gun parts, and resources. In nearly all cases, the code is found by examining the shop or apartment it's in, and solving a light puzzle. But, did you know that you don't even need a code to unlock them? As you've no doubt seen in plenty of caper movies, there's always the safe cracker character that puts their ear to the safe and somehow finds the combination just by listening to the audio cues. It turns out, the same can be done in The Last of Us Part 2. A number of players on Twitter and Reddit were surprised to find it was actually possible to unlock the game's safes that way. This occurs at every 20 numbers or so and produces a slightly different audio cue that could mislead you. This is obviously all recommended to be done with headphones, as you're unlikely to pick up on the subtle differences when using speakers.
